The CDCF Teacher Program:

Improving Skills for Teachers in China
Twenty teachers from the Western Provinces of China (Tibet, Gansu, Xinjiang, Hunan, Henan, Shandong etc.) visited an international school in Beijing for a period of ten days. CDCF worked with the host partner (Dulwich, Wellington, or British School Beijing) to arrange the curriculum. We recruited the teachers from local schools in the west of the country, and paid for their travel and accommodation so that they could partake in the program. We also provided each teacher with a manual to re-teach the five day course in their home school, passing on the knowledge to future graduate teacher. To culminate the teaching, all of the participants received a certificate of graduation and enhanced pay as a result.

The CDCF Outreach Program

Advising The Future CDCF outreach program introduces extra-curricular activities to both students and teachers. From competitive debate to various sports, CDCF gives participants an opportunity to partake in a host of interesting activities. After learning about the different extra-curricular activities, teachers and students are encouraged to bring them back to their own school. CDCF also works with other charitable donors to provide facilities directly to schools, such as astroturf fields.
